Privacy Policy

The short version
Your cat lives on your devices. There are no accounts, and nothing about you or your pet is sent to me. The only thing that ever leaves your device is an approximate location, and only if you turn on the live weather window.
Your pet
His name, stats, age and settings are stored locally on your Mac or iPhone. On iPhone they're shared between the app and its widget on the same device, and never uploaded.
Location and weather
The window can show your real weather and time of day. This is off until you allow it. When it's on, the app asks for a reduced-accuracy location, rounds it to about 10 km, and sends only that to a weather service (Apple Weather, or Open-Meteo) to get the current conditions. Your location isn't stored anywhere else or sent to me. You can turn it off anytime in Settings.
Notifications
If you allow them, reminders like "Cutti is hungry" are scheduled on your iPhone itself. No server is involved.
The apps
The Mac and iPhone apps don't include analytics, ads or tracking.
This website
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and downloads. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you. If you press the heart, the site keeps a one-way hash of your IP address so each person counts once; your IP itself isn't stored.
